The first season was near perfect and the subsequent anthologies have created endless dialogue about how "they're never as good as the first." Despite the very high expectations everyone puts on this series, I've enjoyed every season of True Detective that's been put out. The newest season - subtitled Night Country has been a ratings hit for HBO, and a very hot topic online.

No major spoilers here - I will say, I don't know what some of y'all were bitching about, because I thought the ending was pretty satisfying.

Our detectives this season are the hardened Liz Danvers (Jody Foster) a police chief who fucks and Deputy Evangline Navarro (Kali Reis) who cannot shake a previous case. When a group of scientists are found frozen in a pile outside their small town of Ennis, Alaska. Dangers and Navarro find themselves working together again.

Night Country likely could've stood on its own without being under the True Detective umbrella, but it would've gotten comparisons regardless. It's an un-winnable battle. This season puts a focus on Indigenous stories, and also leans pretty heavily into ghost territory as well. They tell you right away that "people see things around here." I think because ghosts are brought up so much that people expected this to be a full on super-natural show, but again - it's True Detective. Spirituality and seeing things that aren't there have always been part of this series.

I loved Kali Reis as a lead. It's nice to just see an actress that looks like her leading a series alongside a high profile actress like Foster. Her character also had the most interesting arc. Not all the sub plots hit. While Finn Bennett's young deputy/father trying to be the best he can at his job even when it's at the cost of his family is a great presence, the side plot with his father and fellow policeman (John Hawkes) falls pretty flat.

Over all, this was a good bit of TV. If the reaction to the ending you're reading online is putting you off, don't let it. It's a perfectly watchable show.
Brittani Burnhamhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07975067259283007280noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3990332416861666709.post-67212825255363304962024-03-05T07:30:00.001-06:002024-03-05T07:30:00.244-06:002024 Oscar Nominated Shorts

It's been another year of tracking down all the Oscar nominated Shorts! Thanks to my pals over at r/oscarsdeathrace as always for helping me fill in the gaps with finding these films online. I've broken them down into each category and ranked them from best to worst. Have you seen any of these? I loved how unique the animation was in this! And at 7 minutes, it's the shortest watch of the bunch. Very easy to enjoy. A

Ninety-Five Senses -There's a lot of feelings packed into 13 minutes. Inspired by the Music of John & Yoko - This is the most emotional I've been over an animal death for a while, but I suspect the music used is giving this a lot of goodwill. I connected so little that the fact that this was about childhood sexual assault didn't even register right away. C

Letter to a Pig - This film is what dreams are like when you're on an antidepressant. At least in my experience. It was weird, a jumbled mess of animation, sketches, and live action. There were so many allegories, I couldn't tell you what it all meant. I imagine this one will be very subjective. I could see why someone would love it if they picked up on every little thing. C-

Best Documentary Short Film

The Barber of Little Rock - Arlo Washington, tired of "banking while black" decides to give back to his community by opening a loan processing company to help those who cannot get loans from big banks. This was very inspirational and really makes you want to go out and see how you can help. A

The ABCs of Book Banning - This documentary choses to focus on the children in America being affected by Republican lawmakers banning books. They were given age appropriate banned, or restricted books to comment on, and shared their thoughts. You can see a pattern with what books get banned over others. Book banning is something that has always frustrated me. Many of the books on these banned lists were ones that shaped me greatly as a kid. This might not be as technically savvy as some of the other nominees, but the message gets across. B+

Island In Between - Director S. Leo Chiang examines his homeland of Taiwan, more specifically Kinmen, a group of islands governed by Tawain, but only a few miles off the coast of China. To me, this felt like the start of a conversation instead of a full one. I think Chiang could've made a feature length film featuring more Taiwanese voices if he wanted to. Hopefully after seeing this, someone gives him the funding to do so. B

Nǎi Nai & Wài Pó - Very unserious compared to the other nominees, but so very sweet. How can you not be charmed by this sweet little grannies? B

The Last Repair Shop - I've seen films by both filmmakers involved with this and you can see how much they've grown from a technical standpoint. This film is shot very well, and it's a great thing all the folks involved are doing. I just didn't find this one as compelling as some of the others in this category. B-

Live Action Short Film

Red, White And Blue - There's a scene in this that made me feel like I got the wind knocked out of me. People who vote to ban reproductive rights are the enemy. I wish they'd see this and understand the weight of their actions. A

The Wonderful Story of Henry Sugar - I watched all of Wes Anderson's Roald Dahl shorts and this one is definitely the best. I enjoyed it, it's beautiful like all of Wes' pictures and the actors were very good. I wonder if the star power of these will make it hard for the others to get votes? A

Knight Of Fortune - God, what a palette cleanser after The After. (don't worry, we'll get there) This is how you make someone FEEL. Leave it the Danes to make me snort laugh in a film about two guys struggling to come to terms with loss while in a mortuary. A

Invincible - This one is very well made, but its narrative struggles because of its lack of backstory. Why is Marc there? What lead to this? What happens after? It just needed a full length story. Still, puts The After to shame. B-

The After - And finally, the worst film nominated for an Oscar this year. David Oyelowo is a great actor and I have no clue why he agreed to star in this over the top trauma porn. It's poorly shot and shallow. F
Brittani Burnhamhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07975067259283007280noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3990332416861666709.post-42623984211467763792024-03-03T07:30:00.001-06:002024-03-03T07:30:00.141-06:002024 Oscar Predictions: Who Will Win; Who Should Win

We're a week away from the Oscars so it's time to get predicting! I've never read the books, nor seen any of the older versions. I loved the film and am perfectly fine to have this as "my" Dune experience so to speak. So to say I was excited for part II is an understatement.

After may delays, Part II is finally here and is absolutely worth the long wait. Dune: Part II is stunning to look at. The cinematography, the VFX, all of it is rich and beautiful. The way they chose to introduce the new antagonist in a black and white scene (shot in infrared) was very cool.

But Dune is more than what we see, the actors are the beating hearts. Chalamet continues to prove every day that he's leading man material. Paul is in an impossible situation and Chalamet makes you feel it. His chemistry with Zendaya, who is far more than just a love interest is amazing and it makes it all the more heartbreaking to know where it all goes.

Part II does feel like a lot of build up before getting to a conclusion that resolves itself very quickly. But it's never in a way that feels dull. I was just very aware of how long everything was taking. Still, I can't wait to see this again. And I can't wait for Part III.

Grade: A
Brittani Burnhamhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07975067259283007280noreply@blogger.com5tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3990332416861666709.post-80020776488641189762024-02-28T07:30:00.001-06:002024-02-28T07:30:00.135-06:002024 Blind Spot Series: Daughters of the Dust

Official synopsis: A languid, impressionistic story of three generations of Gullah women living on the South Carolina Sea Islands in 1902.

I wanted to add more films directed by women to my Blind Spot list this year, and when doing so Daughters of the Dust was an easy inclusion. It's one I've thought about for a while, and thankfully Mubi is streaming it for all to see.

Daughters of the Dust is a gorgeous film. It's poetry in motion with its stunning cinematography and costumes. The film feels like an extended dream sequence. The style reminded me a bit of Picnic at Hanging Rock in that aspect. (I preferred this film far more) Gullah culture is something I'm well versed in, so I can't speak to any smaller intricacies involved, especially with the language used.

Admittedly, there were times my attention wavered, but a lot of that had to do with the very annoying blizzard happening outside my windows, and my kid kicking a soccer ball around the house because of said blizzard. Had I been in a quieter environment, I doubt I would've had issues regaining focus.

I have to wonder if this film had been released today if director Julie Dash would have a bigger career. Not that her career is *nothing* but would she be talked about in prestigious circles like Ava Duvernay or Dee Rees? This is a film that should've gotten more traction in the 90's, but we all know why it didn't.

Should you have Mubi, this is well worth the watch.

Grade: B+
Brittani Burnhamhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07975067259283007280noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3990332416861666709.post-35683860024077560922024-02-26T07:30:00.001-06:002024-02-26T07:30:00.128-06:00Review: The Zone of Interest

Official synopsis: Auschwitz commandant Rudolf Höss (Christian Friedel) and his wife Hedwig (Sandra Huller) strive to build a dream life for their family in a house and garden beside the camp.

With this, I've officially seen all 10 Best Picture nominations. This one has been quite elusive, which is why I went to see it right away, knowing it probably won't hang around my theater for long.

Everything you've heard about this film's sound design is true. What the editors and mixers did with this was incredible. Scary, depressing, but incredible work. The technical elements of this film are the strongest, but it struggles with the story.

I give writer/director Jonathan Glazer a lot of credit because this is a very different take on a WWII movie, but I struggled to understand the point of it all when it was over. I expected the Höss' to be challenged a bit more. To maybe struggle with their decision to be so flippant about the death happening right outside their fancy garden walls, but they don't. It's all very methodical. The runtime also feels much shorter than it is, so when it flashes to present day, and I realized it was wrapping up, I felt like more story was missing. Maybe we could've heard from the children? Or had a confrontation between Hedwig and her mother? I just wanted a bit more.

Grade: B-
Brittani Burnhamhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07975067259283007280noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3990332416861666709.post-11668548044608908442024-02-23T15:39:00.006-06:002024-02-23T15:39:21.333-06:002024 Screen Actors Guild Predictions: Who Will Win, Who Should Win

The SAGS are upon us tomorrow and here I am, late with my predictions. I laughed. It was ridiculous, and I knew that would be the tone for the whole film. But what I was hoping was going to be dumb fun ended up being just plain old dumb.

My family and I needed a laugh, and I put this on thinking it would do just that, but it ended up being incredibly annoying and unfunny. There are probably two jokes that land in its entire 90 minute run time. It also chooses to end on an incest joke that just doesn't land.

The performances are very inconsistent. A family member died tragically and unexpectedly so writing had to sit on the back burner while I traveled to be with family and help with all the things that come after. (Which is honestly too much)

But, if there's one thing that does help distract me from life's curveballs, it's movies and a docuseries about them came at a welcomed time. Each episode focuses on a different theme. First, there's "Popular and Memorable" this episode sets the tone for the series and lets the view know these are going to be very TCM-centric films being discussed. When I hear "Popular" I immediately think of franchises like MCU, DCEU, Fast and the Furious and such, but none of those are mentioned here.

Episode two is titled "Trapped" and we focus on sacrifices in films. Two of my favorite movies, The Godfather and The Exorcist take center stage here.

Episode three is called "Character Relationships" where we spend time looking at families and groups of friends.

Next is "Heroes and Villains" where the comic book movies finally make an appearance along with old westerns and Hitchcock films.

Episode five is "The Power of the Paradox" which gets deep into the meaning of the word, and we close out episode six with "Love and Meaning." Much of this is focused on fantasy films, and is the first time animated films get more than a brief mention in the series.

I went into this pretty blind so I initially expected there to be multiple narrators but that's not the case. It's only Suber and like I mentioned previously, it's mostly films that you'll see on TCM. Smaller indies, animated films and queer features (aside from big Oscar winners like Brokeback Mountain and Moonlight) are nowhere to be seen. Though some of the films it does bring up, are quite amusing at times. This is going to be for a very specific audience, but if TCM is your style, then this will certainly be for you.

Personally, I always like to hear what someone's favorite movie is, or what themes they find interesting. Even if it's not films I actively watch. So while I did disagree with some of the takes, I still found it an engaging watch.

All six episodes are available on TCM now.
Brittani Burnhamhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07975067259283007280noreply@blogger.com6tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3990332416861666709.post-65033470102817653352024-02-01T07:30:00.001-06:002024-02-01T07:30:00.136-06:00Series Review: A Small Light

In my last TV recap, I spent most of it raving about how much of an unexpected surprise season two of Dr. Death was. It got me thinking that maybe taking the time to recap a series/season once it is over might be a better format for me. So here I am, late to the party on a Hulu mini series that came out at the beginning of the year, and resurfaced with a SAG nomination for its lead actress, Bel Powley.

A Small Light tells the story of Miep Gies, who helped aid the Frank family in hiding during the Nazi occupation of The Netherlands. We all know Anne Frank's story, so seeing the lens shift to Miep, who was an extraordinary woman in her own right is a welcomed take on a popular story.

Powley's Miep is fun. She's talkative, sweet, a hard worker, and her report with Otto Frank (Liev Schreiber) is fun to watch. Even though the series hits the ground running with the Franks going into hiding, it does a great job of showing how Miep and Otto's relationship starts from an awkward job interview into a genuine friendship. Also done well is her relationship with Jan, (Joe Cole...Peaky Blinders hive unite!) who eventually works with the Dutch resistance in his own right. Basically the Gies were both amazing people.

The series shows a lot of what Miep and her coworkers did to keep the Franks safe. They're not completely absent from the story, we spend some time in the annex with them and the actresses playing Anne and Margot (Billie Boullet and Ashley Brook) are both wonderful.

Obviously, knowing what happens to everyone in the Annex, this series overall is sad. It's filled with many bright and amusing moments, but others, like when Miep gifts Anne a pair of shoes and tells her to "wear them on your first date, back to school, wherever you like" hits with incredible sadness. I found myself going back to a lot of Liev Schreiber's scenes as well. There's something so understated about the way he plays Otto, how he remains stoic while protecting his family. He really is not getting enough attention for this performance.

At 8 episode long averaging around 50 minutes a piece, it's perfectly paced and no time for mindless filler. Everything has a purpose. If you've got a Hulu subscription, I highly recommend checking this one out.
Brittani Burnhamhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07975067259283007280noreply@blogger.com8tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3990332416861666709.post-77003719879340168722024-01-30T07:30:00.001-06:002024-01-30T07:30:00.143-06:00Review: All Of Us Strangers

Official synopsis: A screenwriter, Adam (Andrew Scott) drawn back to his childhood home enters into a fledgling relationship with a mysterious neighbor, Harry (Paul Mescal) as he then discovers his parents (Jamie Bell and Claire Foy) appear to be living just as they were on the day they died, 30 years before.

My theater advertised getting this for one week only, so of course I had to rush out to see it. I've been in love with Andrew Scott's work ever since I saw him in BBC's Sherlock. This might be his best work yet.

Do away with the "how" when watching this film. It doesn't matter. What matters is why Adam is feeling what he's feeling and seeing what he's seeing. Scott gives such a nuanced, heartbreaking performance. Can you imagine your adult self having the type of conversations he's having with his parents? Mine are still around, and even I can't image connecting with them on a deep level like this. There's a scene where his mother remarks that she's jealous that his grandmother got to raise him when she didn't. I felt that. But the beauty of this film is that even though there are so emotional beats, the film never overwhelms you with them and brings you into tragedy porn territory. You're just there, drifting with Adam.

It's a shame the Oscars shut out this gorgeous film. It has so much to say about grief and loneliness. This is my first Blind Spot pick of the new year. Coming in a bit late post wise, but better late than never. Heat is one of those movies that my husband and I kept talking about wanting to see, but never getting around to it. With the end of the month creeping up on me, I decided to pull the trigger.

Michael Mann is a director I needed to give a second chance. Not because I disliked his films, no. He's made several good ones, but because I never put much thought into what he was doing behind the camera. With Ferrari coming out recently, It made me want to see more of his work.

What surprised me the most about Heat was that it kept me intrigued for all 3 hours of its run time. I won't lie, I looked at that before hitting "play" and immediately assumed I'd be bored for part of it. But I was wrong. I should've known Al Pacino and Robert De Niro would keep me entertained. Both of their characters are quiet unlikable, but it was still fun to watch their very loud game of cat and mouse.

I'm happy to be proven wrong by a film. I didn't expect to think much of this at all, but it was a great film and a good way to start 2024 in the Blind Spot department.

Grade: B+

Brittani Burnhamhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07975067259283007280noreply@blogger.com9tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3990332416861666709.post-36372903784385763642024-01-25T06:30:00.001-06:002024-01-25T06:30:00.151-06:00Review: Foe

Official Synopsis: Hen (Saoirse Ronan) and Junior (Paul Mescal) farm a secluded piece of land that has been in Junior's family for generations, but their quiet life is thrown into turmoil when an uninvited stranger (<strike>Mid Sized Sedan</strike> Aaron Pierre) shows up at their door with a startling proposal.

When I first saw the trailer for this, I like many couldn't help but compare it to the Black Mirror episode "Beyond The Sea." And you know what? Fine. That was an interesting concept. Saoirse is one of my favorite actors and Mescal is a gorgeous up-and-coming, what could go wrong?

Well, apparently a lot. First, if you're going to specifically tell your audience that this film is set in the American Midwest, maybe try harder to hide the fact that you are clearly shooting in Australia. Even someone who has never lived in that part of the U.S would likely be able to point out that something just looks off with the scenery.

Second, it feels like large chunks of story are missing. You have the constant feeling of walking up to someone mid-conversation. And I'm sure some of it is deliberate to support the ending, but that does not justify the choppiness. There's a point where Paul Mescal's character is giving this big speech. And I can picture the director and everyone in the room telling him he's killing it. And I can see him acting his ass off, but all I could think about is that I had no idea what he's getting at. It was the point where I gave up.

And finally, without spoiling, I'm left with one question. What did they think was going to happen? With Black Mirror, I at least understood where they were going with it. But this? You can see the outcome from a mile away. How is anyone surprised by this?

Saoirse is innocent, of course. She's always great even in her worst films. This just wasn't it.

Grade: D
Brittani Burnhamhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07975067259283007280noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3990332416861666709.post-46194185721008561182024-01-23T15:59:00.000-06:002024-01-23T15:59:00.979-06:002024 Academy Award Nominations

We made it to the Oscars! What this film is really about is an animal trainer Jim (Zachary Quinto) his movie-star chimpanzee Spanky, (Phoenix Notary - yes, this is a child in a chimp costume and I'm assuming they have some relation to movement coach/CGI whiz Terry Notary) and the serial killer, Bobby (Jacob Elordi) who he picks up hitchhiking on route 66.

Tonally, this film is all over the place. It starts with an unknown narrator and a murder, making you wonder how dark it's going to get. Then Quinto shows up with this goofy ass attempt at a Midwestern Accent and it's impossible to take him seriously with that. It doesn't feel natural coming from him. Especially with how straight faced Jim is. It's hard for me not to see Spock when I see Quinto but the voice and the mannerisms just did not match for me. Elordi fairs better as - you guessed it - a creepy dude. He feel effortless in his role.

What this film does well, however is keeping you wondering where exactly it's going to go. I was never 100% sure of Bobby was going to eventually kill Jim or not. Or whether Spanky was going to eventually rip Bobby's face off. Or what Jim and Spanky's destination *really* was. It keeps you guessing, and for that I must give the film credit.

He Went That Way is currently available on VOD and is an easy watch for fans of Quinto and Elordi.

Grade: C
Brittani Burnhamhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07975067259283007280noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3990332416861666709.post-13007459598506711782024-01-10T12:09:00.003-06:002024-01-10T12:09:22.652-06:002024 Screen Actors Guild Nominations

The SAG nominations are here and boy where there some surprises. Movies got removed from streaming or were no longer available at my local library. You may notice a few titles that are back again this year because I couldn't find them last year. I didn't even know they were planning turning Dr. Death into an anthology. I enjoyed the first season that aired back in 2021. This new season follows another real life doctor who left behind a trail of carnage. This time, Dr. Paolo Macchiarini (played by Edgar Ramirez) is regarded as a miracle surgeon implanting biosynthetic tracheas in patients. Calling them a success, when in reality it was anything but. The most harrowing episode is "191", when we meet his 5th patient, Yesim Cetir (played with wide-eyed wonder by Alisha Erozer) All season long, Dr. Gamelli (An amazing Luke Kirby) has been skeptical of Macchiarini's process. He's in charge of post-op, so he's left dealing with the aftermath of these operations. None as shocking as Yesim's, who visits the doctor for a consultation, and ends up with her lung removed after she loses oxygen during a routine scope. What follows is 191 surgeries as her body essentially rots from the inside out. It's hard to watch. Yesim Cetir was a real person and I can barely comprehend what she went through. Erozer plays her with so much promise and scene by scene she breaks down further, until she's a shell of her former self. I was not prepared for this episode and the emotional weight it would have on me. I've been thinking of Yesim nonstop every since.

I can't recommend this show enough. While not all of it is perfect - Mandy Moore's journalist character, while necessary to the story was just not nearly as compelling as Kirby, Ashley Madekwe, and Gustaf Hammarstan were in their roles as doctors. It's absolutely worth the watch. Even if you just get a month of Peacock to binge it.

Fargo - I hated season 4 of this show, but season 5 has been making up for that. Juno Temple steps into the starring role, Joe Keery is no longer lovable Steve and Jon Hamm finally plays someone very un-Jon Hamm like. His character is the absolute worst and I really hope he gets his comeuppance in the finale. It's nice to have this show feel compelling again. I missed that the last time around.

What If... - This show is pure fun for any MCU fan. Captain Peggy Carter took center stage this season as she featured in multiple episodes, which was fine by me. And my girl Wanda even got some screen time! My biggest complaint was the voice actress they had playing Gamora. She sounded nothing like Zoe and it was completely distracting.

Brittani Burnhamhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07975067259283007280noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3990332416861666709.post-69981696418983952652024-01-02T07:30:00.000-06:002024-01-02T07:30:00.140-06:00Review: Poor Things

Official synopsis: The incredible tale about the fantastical evolution of Bella Baxter (Emma Stone); a young woman brought back to life by the brilliant and unorthodox scientist, Dr. Godwin Baxter. (Willem DaFoe)

Yorgos Lanthimos is a director that I'm always eager to see. His work is just so...weird. This might be his most visually stunning film yet. It's fantastical, it almost reminded me of something Tim Burton would do. It perfectly fits with the tone of the story.

We see Bella Baxter essentially come into womanhood. Learning about her body, what she likes, how to use it. It's a very sexually liberating film. I had to admit I was surprised just how much sex and nudity there was in the film, but it all makes sense for the character.

Emma Stone gives the best performance of her career as Bella. We meet her when she can barely speak and leave her a strong and articulate woman. She's a great character to follow. Mark Ruffalo is hysterical as her flighty suitor. I forget just how great his comedic timing is. His character is such a brat, and I love how he played them. I can't say enough about the cast in general. All were wonderful.

While I enjoyed being in this world and following Bella, I did feel the hefty runtime on this. It slows considerably once we get into the second half, and when a new character was introduced very late into the film, it almost feels like it's going to be too much.

I had high expectations for this and I'm happy to find a well crafted and fun film in Poor Things. It was worth what felt like the longest wait.

Grade: B+
Brittani Burnhamhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07975067259283007280noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3990332416861666709.post-31859082470657425102023-12-31T07:30:00.001-06:002023-12-31T07:30:00.193-06:00Review: Anatomy of a Fall

Official synopsis: A woman (Sandra Hüller) is suspected of her husband's murder, and their blind son, Daniel (Milo Machado Graner) faces a moral dilemma as the main witness.

If you're a film fan on the internet, it's been impossible not to be at least somewhat hyped for this film. It made a huge splash at Cannes, has plenty of critics nominations and everyone speaks highly of it. It easily became one of my most anticipated of the year. My local theater never got it, but now it's available to rent on VOD for all.

I'm a sucker for courtroom dramas and this one doesn't disappoint. We probably spend 2 hours of the 2 1/2 run time in that court room and I ate up every second. This is the type of film where you barely notice the run time. I only realized how long it truly was after I had finished. It's paced very well and the dialogue is always engaging. As someone not familiar with the French judicial system, it was interesting to watch this all play out.

Hüller gives a great performance as a woman who is in an impossible situation. She's not a native French speaker, yet she finds herself verbally sparring with a relentless prosecutor. (Antoine Reinartz who is GREAT, but his face was begging for a punch) Then there's Milo, and I'm surprised more people are not talking about him in the same way we're discussing other breakout performances like Charles Melton and Daniel Sessa. This kid was tremendous. He has to bare a lot of emotional weight and every expression was pitch perfect. And he's a great crier. That's not always an easy thing for a child actor to do. If I had it my way, he'd be in the Support Oscar line up in a second.

I did expect to be a bit more conflicted when it came to the question of "did she do it?" I had my theory, and I never wavered from it. Other reviews I've read, the writers never felt sure, and I sort of wish I had felt that way too.

This is easily worth the rental price. I'm glad that Canne hype paid off.

Grade: A
Brittani Burnhamhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07975067259283007280noreply@blogger.com2
