You're also right about the sequels being bad.<br /><br />Hocus Pocus is cute but even with my love of Bette Midler and Kathy Najimy , I share your aversion for SJP, it isn't something I watch very often.<br /><br />This version of The Secret Garden is beautiful, I picked it for the YA week theme, and terrific pick, have you ever seen the earlier version with Margaret O'Brien? It's a very good rendering of the story as well. <br /><br />I have a soft spot for Shirley Temple too. I don't love all of her films but The Little Princess, Heidi, Stowaway and Poor Little Rich Girl are still favorites also I can't pass by Bright Eyes without stopping and watching to the end no matter where it is in the film!
