2025 Golden Globe Nominations

I am so out of the loop that I didn't even realize the Globe nominations were yesterday! At least I know I BAFTA, SAG and Oscars are all announced in January. Margaret Qualley! She was one I was not confident about getting in, so I'm so happy to see her here, but three of these nominations are a disaster. Saldaña and Grande are absolutely NOT supporting characters in their movies. They are co-leads, and Gomez gave nowhere near an awards worthy performance. Her over Danielle Deadwyler in The Piano Lesson? Honestly...

Musical, Comedy, and Horror strikes again with Heretic? Maybe it's funny? I haven't gotten to see it. Eisenberg and Plemons are excellent in those films. Stan scoring a double nom is very impressive. I didn't care for Powell or LaBelle in these roles. Especially when the Challenger guys were right there.
