This month, I wanted to start sharing "Decade" posts celebrating the 2010's. It's extra fitting that this year is the 10 anniversary of Rambling Film. I decided to split up each year, with 10 gifs from 10 different films. Here are some shots that stood out to me in 2011.

    I enjoy reading (well looking at) these decade posts. Especially how subjective they can be. That's great underwater acting in The Descendants. The ending of Midnight in Paris was my favorite part of the movie.

      It annoys me so much Shailene Woodley got snubbed for an Oscar nomination with that performance. She was outstanding.

      I normally hate Woody Allen movies and don't even bother trying to watch them anymore, but Midnight in Paris was just gorgeous. Quite the anomaly.

    Ah, I love all of those shots. Even the one in Deathly Hallows Pt. 2. It has more joy and life than those goddamn prequels that J.K. Lucas is creating.

    I love that you mentioned "Take Shelter". I'm not sure if there is a more underrated movie this entire decade. The fact that Shannon didn't get an Oscar nomination still sets me on fire.

    The kiss between Ron and Hermione is so frustrating. There's so many angles David could've used from the behind-the-scenes footage, and he chose the one where their hands cover each other's faces. It's a great pick, but so frustrating. lol Another awesome post!
