How did I do with my must see 2014 films?

I hope everyone has a fun and safe new years eve tonight! This is how I fared with my must see movies of 2014.

Three of the seven films I haven't seen yet got moved to 2015 releases.(The Green Inferno, The Ever After, and Every Secret Thing) Tusk will probably suck, but I still have Eleanor Rigby, Whiplash, and Foxcatcher to look forward to in 2015.

    I completely forgot about Night Moves, gotta track it down soon! I'm with you on I Origins by the way, I really loved it. :)

      Yay! I love it when people like I Origins, the reviews were so mediocre, but it's still one of my favorites. Night Moves is a good one too!

    LOL, Monuments Men. I will never see it. Like, I put it down on my list of movies to see, mainly because I really wanted to write a bad review about a Clooney film (because I was in my 'Clooney is an asshole' stage), but I don't want to punish myself.

    I still have Monuments Men on DVD somewhere on the shelf, but this looks so god damn boring not even the duo of Dujardin and Clooney can make me see it

    Nice roundup! LOL, I gave dozens of A's. I think I might work on a new grading system for 2015. Also, I actually liked The Monuments Men, even if it was uneven and not very original. :/

    Very nice. Still need to see a number of these myself. Looking forward to them. Well, mostly. Monuments Men has been sitting around near me DVD player waiting for me to watch it for a few weeks, but I haven't mustered up the courage, yet.

    I've managed to see 10 of these, and I'm pretty much in full agreement with the scores you dished out. Though I'd take some points off Cap and throw them at Guardians.

    Anyway, nice work as always. Happy New Year! Hopefully 2015 is void of a Monument Men-sized disappointment.

Indie Gems: Behind The Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon

Passionate about your profession? I had never heard of this film until it ended up on one of Jason's favorite horror movie lists around Halloween. It immediately sounded interesting to me, so of course I threw it in my Netflix queue. (and if I'm just now watching it after adding it around Halloween, you know how ridiculous my queue is) Taylor (Angela Goethals) is a journalist who, along with a film crew decides to follow around a serial killer named Leslie Vernon. (Nathan Baesel) He plans on doing the typical slasher thing - getting a bunch of drunk teens in an abandoned house and knocking them off one by one. He gets advice from a retired serial killer, Eugene (Scott Wilson) and is threatened by a man who's on to him, Doc Holloran (Robert Englund) Taylor and crew are there capturing it all. Earlier this week I made a post where I ran through the letters of the alphabet with my favorite movie titles. There were a few people that suggested I turn it into a blogathon, and I've never done that before. So here goes nothing! Since this is my first attempt at a blogathon, it's all pretty simple, and it's hopefully a quick post that everyone can join in.
