2026 Actor Award Winners

 Okay, I still can't get used to calling these The Actor Awards. I thought the show was kind of chaotic. They started off with a really great skit with the Abbott Elementary cast then, they followed it up with some of the most awkward presenting banter I've seen in a long time.  I actually welcomed the "ad breaks" Netflix had where they paid tribute to different genres of films. They did somewhat redeem themselves with Miles Caton singing after the In Memoriam segment, but it was all over the place. I went 7/13 with my picks, which is awful, but hey! I like surprises too.

Samuel L Jackson was so excited to announce this win lol. One Battle has Best Picture locked up, so it's nice to see Sinners get to shine here. I saw online that Ryan Coogler became the first person in SAG history to director two Ensemble winners, and that's a great stat.

Jessie has that Oscar locked up! I couldn't be happier, she's a gem.

Timothée Chalamet – Marty Supreme

Leonardo DiCaprio – One Battle After Another

Ethan Hawke – Blue Moon

Michael B. Jordan – Sinners

Jesse Plemons – Bugonia

This was a shocker. I've been on team Chalamet all Oscar season, and he's definitely a lot more vulnerable than I thought he'd be going in. Maybe the press tour did hurt him? Still, I can't be mad about Michael winning here. He was great in Sinners and is such a good actor overall. Viola Davis literally screamed his name when she opened the envelope.

Sean Penn – One Battle After Another

Sean Penn is officially the frontrunner now. I really hope Stellan pulls through on Oscar night. Not that Penn is bad, I just have favorites and he already has 2 Oscars.

Amy said it was nice to be there as she's been working for a "long ass time." She also brought up the SAG statue's junk, and rambled a bit and honestly...she's so real for that.

Gary Oldman – Slow Horses

Noah Wyle – The Pitt

Paul W. Downs and Megan Statler had some of the cringiest banter in the world and it felt like it went on to ages before they gave Wyle the award we already knew he won. Lawd. It's bad enough to deal with them on Hacks but in the real world too? Too much.

I thought for sure Seehorn was going to take this with how hot Pluribus has been. I think Keri thought the same.

Ike Barinholtz – The Studio

Adam Brody – Nobody Wants This

Ted Danson – A Man On The Inside

Seth Rogen – The Studio

Martin Short – Only Murders in the Building

Seth said during his speech that he normally sees himself as a writer that occasionally writes something for himself, but that winning this made him feel like an actor. He deserves it. I'm happy for him.

Kathryn Hahn – The Studio

Catherine O’Hara – The Studio

Jenna Ortega – Wednesday 

Jean Smart – Hacks

Kristen Wiig – Palme Royale

If someone was going to beat Jean Smart, it would be the recently deceased legend Catherine O'Hara. Seth Rogan accepted for her and you can tell it was hard for him to be up there and not get emotional. She really left us too soon.

Jason Bateman – Black Rabbit

Owen Cooper – Adolescence

Stephen Graham- Adolescence

Charlie Hunnam – Monster: The Ed Gein Story

Matthew Rhys – The Beast In Me

I really thought Graham was going to win due to how long he's been in the industry, but young Owen took it. I'm so happy for him, he was great, but unfortunately he wasn't there to accept the award. I wish he would've gotten the chance to bask in it.

Claire Danes – The Beast In Me

Erin Doherty – Adolescence

Sarah Snook – All Her Fault

Christine Tremarco – Adolescence

Michelle Williams – Dying For Sex

Williams had won for this performance already, but it still surprised me with how strong Adolescence is. Erin Doherty, I will avenge you.
