  1. I'm so pissed off that I'm not gonna be able to see this live! Mark has two nominations for the love of God, granted he is not winning anything but he'll be there. Best actor in mini series or TV movie is the strongest category, literally everyone there is worthy of win but I hope Matt takes it if only to deliver one of his legendary speeches again :P

    1. lol, I think he will. I'd be surprised if he didn't, he's not up against Bryan Cranston this time.

  2. Definitely agree with you on Jake Gyllenhaal. Man what a captivating performance, can't wait to see it again on home release!

    1. That's my favorite male performance this year, easily.

  3. I agree that Rosamund Pike should win Best Actress Performance, and those Best Actor Performances are too hard to choose among!

    1. I know! They are all so wonderful. And yes, Pike needs to win all the awards.

  4. I agree with a lot here, but I'm pretty sure that Moore is winning every televised award, with the possible exception of BAFTA.

    1. You think Jones could take the BAFTA in her place?

  5. Best Actor (Drama) should be an interesting category. I could see Cumberbatch, Oyelowo or Redmayne winning. I think Julianne Moore has a good chance of winning both awards, but voters might go for Emily Blunt in Comedy.

    1. Yeah, Comedy is a tough choice. I think Moore is technically getting the best reviews in that category.

  6. I can be a pessimist about awards sometimes, but it is very, very odd to me that damn near everyone I want to win is who everyone is predicting to win. Keaton, Simmons, Linklater, Boyhood - bring 'em on. Also, Antonio Sanchez being ineligible for the Oscar is buuuullshit.

    1. It is, I get flash rage just thinking about it. That score elevated the movie so much.
