Thursday Movie Picks: An Irreparable Mistake

This week's theme from Wandering Through The Shelves is movies that feature an irreparable mistake. Two of these are on my favorite list. The other I just thought was funny. I'm sure you can guess which is which.

1) Atonement

Way to go, Briony! Telling that lie and ruining lives. (and making me sob uncontrollably. The nerve!)

2) Jurassic Park
Way to go, Dr. Hammond! You just had to create that dinosaur park and now your grandchildren are going to need life long therapy.

3) Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith

Way to go, Anakin Skywalker! You just had to turn into a little bitch and let the Emperor seduce you into joining the dark side. Then your kid had to pick up the slack 20 years later.

  1. LOL! Love your approach to these, and love that we both chose Jurassic Park!

    1. I was so surprised to see it on your list. I thought I was kind of stretching it there in a way. Glad to see I wasn't!

    2. I like the humorous approach :)
Jurassic Park - why would anyone think a dinosaur park would be a good idea?

    3. Thanks! :) Yeah, and using frog DNA that can change their sexes? Fail, fail, fail.

  4. Hilarious! Never saw the second Star Wars Trilogy, so I can't comment. But Atonement and Jurassic Park, I must say, are stellar picks.

    1. Thank you! The Star Wars prequels are basically Anakin Skywalker making a ton of bad decisions. lol

  5. Haha. It's a shame that Star Wars ruined Christensen's career. He showed promise in Life as a House and Shattered Glass.

    1. He did, then he never recovered. Everything he's been in after Star Wars has been equally as bad. He's never even came close to how good he was in Life as a House.
