This month, I wanted to start sharing "Decade" posts celebrating the 2010's. It's extra fitting that this year is the 10 anniversary of Rambling Film. I decided to split up each year, with 10 gifs from 10 different films.Here are some shots that stood out to me. Onward to 2017!

DeleteWith the exception of Mudbound, Ingrid Goes West, and Columbus (only because I haven't seen them), I totally agree with these picks. Especially Ragnarok as that is an iconic shot as it is a great example of how to use the music of Led Zeppelin correctly.
ReplyDeleteYES! I loved how they used that Led Zeppelin song in that scene. It's easily one of my favorite Marvel shots, ever.

DeleteI didn't love the story in BR2049 and I found Gosling's character a bore but the movie had great visuals and Deakins deserved his oscar win.
ReplyDeleteDeakins was so overdue for an Oscar it was sad. That should've been his 5th.

DeleteMine too, when the music started playing I laughed so hard. It was perfect.
DeleteThat Wonder Woman shot. Heck, that whole scene is an easy contender for best action sequence of the decade. Again, iconic.
ReplyDeleteI almost cried when watching it. It was just so powerful and to see a woman finally in a scene like that was just so overwhelming for me.
DeleteSome love for Raw, yes! I need to watch that movie again, that thing was bonkers and I loved it.
