    10 amazing films, The Handmaiden for me is the best film of that year with Moonlight as a close 2nd.

    That Civil War scene was amazing, and the movie is one of my all-time Marvel favorites!
    Also, love that you included Handmaiden, one of my all time favorites, too!

    If La La Land ever gets a re-run at cinemas I'm in, the colors and music are special, even if the love story didn't totally win me over on first watch.

      I liked La La Land better on the second watch as well. I think it's because it was so heavily hyped that when I saw it and just liked but didn't love it, I was disappointed. It was still one of my favorites but I appreciate it more now.

    And yes at the nod to The Neon Demon. Hell, you could pick just about any frame from that movie and you wouldn't be wrong. ;)

    I thought Jackie's cinematography was one of its strongest assets. Great call there. Also love the look of The Neon Demon.

      Jackie overall was such a wonderful movie and I wish Natalie Portman would've won for it.
