Best Shots of the Decade: 2016

This month, I wanted to start sharing "Decade" posts celebrating the 2010's. It's extra fitting that this year is the 10 anniversary of Rambling Film. I decided to split up each year, with 10 gifs from 10 different films. Here are some shots that stood out to me. Onward to 2016!

  6. If La La Land ever gets a re-run at cinemas I'm in, the colors and music are special, even if the love story didn't totally win me over on first watch.

    1. I liked La La Land better on the second watch as well. I think it's because it was so heavily hyped that when I saw it and just liked but didn't love it, I was disappointed. It was still one of my favorites but I appreciate it more now.

  7. Yes at those La La Land and Civil War shots!

And yes at the nod to The Neon Demon. Hell, you could pick just about any frame from that movie and you wouldn't be wrong. ;)

  8. I thought Jackie's cinematography was one of its strongest assets. Great call there. Also love the look of The Neon Demon.

    1. Jackie overall was such a wonderful movie and I wish Natalie Portman would've won for it.
